A few months ago, I was in survival mode. Postpartum depression hit me harder than I expected. Between motherhood, running a business, school, and life, I completely lost myself. Some days, just getting through the day felt like a victory. Today, I hiked Mt. Rubidoux and got in 10k steps. That may not seem like much to some people, but for me, it’s proof of how far I’ve come. Healing isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like getting out of bed. Sometimes it looks like taking a walk. Sometimes it looks like finally deciding that you deserve the same love and care you give everyone else. This season, I’m choosing me. 🤎 Not because life got easier.
